PAINTER
ILLUSTRATOR
WRITER
I started out as a painter, spent decades as an illustrator, then a writer and now I'm painting again. I love the immediacy and vibrancy of watercolour, and of course I love to draw. I'm attracted to fine architecture and I have a bit of a thing about boats - especially derelict ones. Just about all forms of transport fascinate me, as does the human form. I spend a great deal of time drawing with the Hesketh Hubbard Art Society at the Mall Galleries. In addition to life work, I paint subjects en plein air.
In my galleries you'll see paintings from my travels in recent years, as well as life work. There is also a gallery of illustration work. Prints are available of all my work. Many originals are also for sale.
I use a high end A3 scanner and the prints are on 100% rag paper. They're produced on the Canon Pro 1 printer, which uses archive quality inks. All editions are limited and prints are signed and numbered.
If you would like to purchase an original or commission a piece of artwork, please get in touch.
